  1. The two images were created using Adobe Illustrator 5.5 and Infini-D 2.6 on a Quadra 840av 16/1000 with 2Mb VRAM.

  3. Both were ray-traced at 1137x800 in millions of colours, and I have animated them at 640x480.  Unfortunately a high density disk isn't quite adequate...
